What is Neert Na Neer?

Neert Na Neer is a made up phrase / word that can be a noun, verb, or adjective. It came into my family vocabulary many years ago and is a staple in our vernacular. It has a wide range of meanings depending on its use and context. These connotations range from silly and foolish to obvious or simple. Basically, its a handy little thing that gets a lot of use in today’s crazy world. Here are some examples: 1. “Hes a Neert Na Neer”- meaning a foolish or silly person. 2. Well, doing that was pretty Neert Na Neer.” – meaning a dumb move. 3. Well, Neert Na Neer! -meaning that was obvious! I chose it for it’s utilitarian nature and broad range of meanings because my writing here will hopefully be utilitarian and will definitely cover a broad range of subjects. This blog website will serve as a repository for a lifetime of observations, beliefs, and deciphering of the things I’ve learned so, Neert Na Neer!
